Real easy heating instructions

Please note: These heating instructions are a guide only. Heating times may vary according to the number of items being heated and the power of equipment used.

Plain Patty

Ingredients: Egg (84%), Water, Skim Milk Powder, Vegetable Oil, Stabiliser (Maize Starch, Vegetable Gums (412, 415)), Salt, Food Acid (330).

THAWING INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Remove patties from carton. Arrange in a single layer, cover and thaw product in the refrigerator at 0°C – 5°C.
  2. Product typically thaws in 24hrs at these temperatures, however it is recommended to check that product is properly thawed prior to use.
  3. Once thawed consume within 7 days. Heat before consumption.

CONVENTIONAL OVEN

  1. Preheat oven to 150°C.
  2. Place up to 6 patties uncovered on metal tray.
  3. For THAWED, place product on tray and cook for 5 minutes.
  4. For FROZEN, place product on tray and cook for 10 minutes.

COMBI OVEN

  1. Preheat combi oven to 100°Cand 100% steam.
  2. Place up to 6 patties uncovered on metal tray.
  3. For THAWED, place product on tray and cook for 3 minutes.
  4. For FROZEN, place product on tray and cook for 5 minutes.

MICROWAVE (based on a 1100 watt oven)

  1. Place pattie in microwave in a dish with 1 tablespoon of water (vent on lid OPEN).
  2. For FROZEN product, microwave on High for 1 minute 30 seconds. Add 1 minute for each extra item.
  3. For THAWED product, microwave on High for 1 minute. Add 1 minute for each extra item.

SANDWICH PRESS

  1. Place patties in pre-heated sandwich press between non-stick baking paper.
  2. For THAWED, cook for 1 minute.
  3. For FROZEN, cook for 2 minutes.

GRILL / HOTPLATE

  1. Preheat grill or hotplate on med/low.
  2. Lightly oil hotplate.
  3. For THAWED, place patties on grill or hot plate and cook for 1 minute 30 seconds to 2 minutes turning once.
  4. For FROZEN, place patties on grill or hot plate and cook for 3 minutes turning once.
