Real easy heating instructions

These instructions are a guide only. Heating times may vary according to the number of items being heated and the power of equipment used. As a guideline we recommend heating products to 65-70°C and serve, or hold at this temperature for a maximum 2 hours. We do not recommend reheating previously heated product.

For optimum taste, reheat from a thawed rather than a frozen state and serve hot.

Our products will reheat with a soft and delicate texture when following these heating instructions.

Vegetable Frittata

Ingredients: Egg (44%), Vegetables (29%) (Sweet Potato, Spinach, Peas, Capsicum), Water, Cheese (Milk, Salt, Cultures, Non-Animal Rennet, Enzymes, Anti-Caking Agent (460), Preservative (200)), Thickener (1422), Vegetable Oil, Stock Powder (Natural Flavours), Salt, Quinoa (0.5%), Food Acids (300, 330), Spice, Vegetable Gum (415), Flavour.

THAWING INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Remove frittatas from carton. Arrange in a single layer, cover and thaw product in the refrigerator at 0°C – 5°C.
  2. Product typically thaws in 24hrs at these temperatures, however it is recommended to check that product is properly thawed prior to use.
  3. Heat before consumption.Once thawed, consume within 5 days

COMBI OVEN

  1. Preheat oven to 100°C with 100% steam.
  2. Place required number of Frittatas in the oven.
  3. If THAWED (recommended), heat for 8-10 minutes or until heated (65°C – 70°C).
  4. If FROZEN, heat for 15-20 minutes or until heated (65°C – 70°C).
  5. Serve immediately or transfer to food holding unit set at 65°C – 70°C. Hold for a maximum of 2 hours.

CONVENTIONAL OVEN

  1. Preheat oven to 170°C (fan forced 150°C).
  2. Place required number of Frittatas in the oven.
  3. If THAWED (recommended), heat for 20-25 minutes or until heated (65°C – 70°C).
  4. If FROZEN, heat for 30-35 minutes or until heated (65°C – 70°C).
  5. Serve immediately or transfer to food holding unit set at 65°C – 70°C. Hold for a maximum of 2 hours.

MICROWAVE (based on a 1100 watt oven)

  1. Place a single Frittata in a microwave safe container with vented lid.
  2. If THAWED (recommended), heat on HIGH for 1 min 30 seconds or until heated (65°C – 70°C). Allow an extra 20 seconds for each additional Frittata.
  3. If FROZEN, heat on HIGH for 3 minutes or until heated (65°C – 70°C). Allow an extra 1 minute for each additional Frittata.
  4. Serve immediately or transfer to food holding unit set at 65°C – 70°C. Hold for a maximum of 2 hours.
